Never heard of it but have a look here

having worked with lots of car mad people, I have heard many good things about the imprezia.

Apparently valid research shows that subaro owners are the most satisfied car owners around. Only problem I have heard mention is the car's petrol consumption. Not in the mega league, but the imprezia is not what you'd call an economy car. Lots of fun, though, if driving's your thing.

sb34 your car dealer mate wouldn't like to swap the Impreza for a crappy Vauxhall Cavalier would he? My dp would bite his hand off. Good reports on them apparently. Top Gear in their poll had them up in the top 10 for reliability etc etc.

Have friends who have one and love it and a number of friends in Aus have gone over to Subarus ( Forresters though) but do like the reliability of the Subarus

We bought a R reg Subaru Legacy this year and are really impressed by it. The Aussies love Subarus but they don't seem to have as high a profile over here.
