found lump in breast

yesterday

was painful, if children leaned on me for cuddle it was very painful, slightly red

today not painful unless touched but still hard lump

any ideas?

The general thinking is - if it's painful, chances are it's not sinister.

When I found a painful lump, I had it syringed by GP and the results came back it was an infected sebaceous gland (what ever one of those is).

its quite big ie long, goes from near nipple to outside of breast, red area large doesnt hurt now nless touched hard

The lump I had was tender if pressed and was a cyst, no redness. Anyway a bump to help you with your bumping! Hope it is all OK .
