How do you clear your internet cache?

here goes, I have just opened an online shop and I cant log in, contacted my web designer by email and he told me to clear my internet cache, i deleted temporary internet files, am i on the right track...i need one of those journals for dummies dah!

help please!

In Internet Explorer you do the following:

Click on - Tools - on the Menu Bar toolbar;

Select - Internet Options - on the drop down menu that appears.

Click on - Delete - button on the General tab of the dialog box that appears.

Click on - Delete All - button on the box that appears.

Click on - Yes - button on the dialog box tthat pops which asks 'are you sure?'

It takes a while to delete but everything should be gone after 30 seconds or so.
