i've been married nearly 3 years and i still can't get used to my married name, an example being in the doctors i nearly always miss my turn because Mrs Bamboo doesn't register when its called.

i've mentioned it to dh a few times and he seems a bit hurt but i really want to go back to my old name
i don't suit my married name at all!

has anyone else done this?

how much of pita will it be to do?

do i need to change by deed poll or will my marriage cert be enough?

did having a different name to your dc cause any problems?

I thought you could use either - I am taking my driving test as Miss B rather than faff with a new passport etc yet

I have my business in my maiden name as it is easier to pronounce than my married name and i started my business before i got married.

Not encountered any problems so far.

It helps that DH thinks his surname is ghastly though.
