Anyone in Padstow?

I wish I was, I lived there once and we did the whole dancing through the houses - it was a blast! I was with the red Obby Oss, the blue one scared the pants off me when he chased me!

We were blue!!

My aunt still lives there, but not been for May Day in years - DD is too young still and would be terified (and I have developed a fear of crowds )

It can be a pretty scary custom, I am not sure my parents would've allowed it at a young age. I was 9 at the time and we covered the customs in school beforehand.

At least she can enjoy it when she is older! I will have to take DS with a friend when he is old enough, it was great fun to learn and do!
