the loveliest thing I heard today...

...was at pick up time at ds's school. He is in reception. I arrived at the door and another little boy piped up and said to ds:

"G, your big sister's here to collect you !"

He'll be a hit with the ladies, that one!

I went to pick up my little sister (she was about 5) once with a friend.

One of her class mates saw us and said:

"What are you pair of slappers doing here?"

Not quite such a charmer!

I told dh who found it funny but did wonder what ds's friend's agenda was...playdate ? chance of going on ds's new bike etc etc.

but still

or maybe you do look very good and young for your age!!
