Game of Life instructions needed!

I'm really hoping someone can help me out here, because I have a very irate 7 year old desperate to play this game properly! We bought "Game of Life" at a car boot sale, and then discovered there are no instructions. I know roughly what to do, but we have no idea what the squares with icons are for, or when we should be paid. I have tracked down rules on the hasbro site, but they seem to relate to a different version of the game! Mine is the 1992 version, and it DOESN'T have Life cards or green PAYDAY squares. If anyone has the rules to this version, and wouldn't mind photocopying them and letting me have them - I will pay postage - I'd really appreciate it!

sapphire - we have game of life with red payday squares and collect, pay and exemption cards...i think it's about the same age as yours.
unfortunately we don't have a scanner so i can't send you the rules that way; and there are 12 little pages (3 sheets) but i notice now we are missing 1,2,11 and 12 (outside sheet) - but if nobody else has the whole thing i'd be happy to send you a photocopy of what we have got!!!

Janh - thanks for the note. Unfortunately mine doesnt have any of what you mentioned, there is no indication on the board of when payday is! And no extra cards either. But thanks for the offer!

I've got it! Definitely the same one-with the occupation symbols on it at various points and no pay day squares. The only thing is the rules are printed on the LID of the box! But if you still need it I'll type them up for you and email them - it's not too much trouble honestly, I'll just time it with baby's nap! So let me know if you'd like me too and I'll get typing (will be online again on Monday)!!

This is a long shot but was hoping if you could forward to me the game of life instructions or send me a link of where I can obtain them from. I am not sure what version of the game I have but the version I have includes: salary cards, credit cards, status symbol cards, career cards, life insurance certificates(25,000) board mostly yellow spaces, a few orange spaces, a few red spaces, white building pieces, 3 green bridges, 1 white bridge. Thank you ever so much.
