I need somehting to fiddle with!

When I get stressed, anxious, hungry etc I pick the skin round the outside of my finger nails.
It's a horrible horrible habit and I stopped doing it for a while but since DD has arrived and DS has become a bit of a handful I've started doing it again. So, I need something small and unobtrusive that I can keep in my pocket/bag and fiddle with whenever the need to pick arises.
Any ideas please?

I have a koosh ball on my keyring that I fiddle with, or the other thing I have found, is the latest craze for kids called Loopys, properably seen them about, they are plastic threads that you loop together.. keps your hands busy.

Ooooh that play putty stuff, silly putty isn't it!!

What about something like a smooth crystal or piece of soapstone, something nice and tactile.
