Can anyone please please help or advise me on quite a serious subject?? I have never been so unsure of anything in my life. I recently witnessed a 2 year old child being given its own beaker FULL of beer at a party, by his own parents, and I haven't been able to rest since. I can't sleep and its constantly on my mind. Every part of me knows that this is absolutely horrific and I cant leave the situation without doing something. However from all the research i've done i'm frightened to tell social services in case they go in like a bull in a china shop and yank the kids away from their home. I don't know if this was a one off or just a terrible error of judgement, because the parents were drinking themselves, or if its a regular occurance. If it was a one off is it fair that the children are taken away....I know my world would cease to exist without my children and i'd hate to be the reason that happens to someone else. Another factor is some of our children attend school together and I don't want their lives to be made a living hell if they found out i'd made a complaint. Any ideas anyone please xx
