Ebay..Damaged item.

Ordered a ps3...arrived today, smashed to bits.
Delivered by parcelforce who said get in contact with sender, which i did, the seller is saying that he won't send another console out until PF have reibursed him, AND that the insurance is only 150 quid which doesn't cover all the costs.

What does this mean for me as the buyer?

did you pay by paypal?
A claim with them is your best solution. .

Yes i did, he says he will send another one out when he has made the claim for damages which has really annoyed me

Because i see it taking ages.. i mean, its not my problem it wasn't insured for its full value is it..

i'D JSUT CLAIM WITH PAYPAL SO THAT YOU GET THE FUILL AMOUNT BACK AND CUT YOUR LOSSES. yOU WILL HAVE TO SEND IT ABCK TO HIM, BUT AT LEAST YOU WILL ONLY LOSE YOUR RETRUN POSTAGE.
