Retrofitting Isofix - Mazda 626. Anyone done it successfully?

After watching DD's booster seat wobble around to an uncomfortable degree on a recent trip to Wales, I'm looking into retrofitting isofix in our ancient Mazda 626. It's a T reg, from 98 or 99 I think.

Can anyone shed any light on whether it will be possible? Anyone or their DH a mechanic?

I've found some earlier threads on MN but nothing that really was conclusive.

we had isofix put in to our volvo with no problem x reg. We did at the time check out having it put into a passat vw and where told it could not be done, but DH found out the part numbers phoned another dealer and they said it could be done. So ring round dealers and dont take the first no as an answer.
