Birthday Invitations on a balloon

Hi, Has anyone used a balloon as an invitation which has all the party details, the receiver needs to blow it out to read it?
I am keen on doing it..but my permanent marker smudges, even though I've left it to dry before blowing it out so I can mail it.

IIRC we drew on some balloons in perm marker that did dry, but when we deflated them the ink became wet/smudgy again

Wouldn't it be a bit faffy to hand out a load of balloons?

Its going in the post along with a card, which has 'Blow the Balloon' on the cover..italso says its a birthday party with the invitees name.
I'm not sure what the reaction will be..but I like the idea..and am giving it a shot.
Am gonna try a bero.

Printing might be a tad expensive, but will look..thanks.
This is crazy but I have actually written in very tiny font,at the back of the card that the balloon was blown using a pump!
