Should I buy DS's keyworker a present for her going off on mat leave or wait til baby arrives?

Wasn't sure where to post this...

DS has several keyworkers at nursery and one of them is about to leave for mat leave next week. I'm not sure if I should get her anything, or a small gift to wish her well for the birth, or should I wait until she has had the baby and then get something?

I got my ds's keyworker vouchers for a local baby shop when she left on her maternity leave. She was an absolute gem and had overseen his potty training every step of the way so I really wanted to get her something.
