PuffTheMagicDragon · 28/04/2005 11:51

Ooh, now with my teacher head on, I thought "issue" was pronounced i-ssue, not i-shue as "ss" and "sh" are totally different digraphs (2 letters that make 1 sound).

JoolsToo · 28/04/2005 11:52

BarbaraX · 28/04/2005 12:34

question...

is it no (short o) or nou ( a little ou sound at the end?) or other options?

my scottish friend always teases me for sayin no pronouncing the vowel ou after the n.

I am sure I am hearig other people saying nou rather no here in London? or is it being italina and I mis-hearing things?
