How much, roughly, does it cost to have a gardener come and tidy up one's garden - not lady garden

I am a lady, and I do need my garden tidied. I have a man coming tomorrow to give me an estimate.

Thing is, I've no idea how much this kind of thing costs and don't wish to embarrass self.

The only reason I'm not doing my self is because I am v. pregnant and am lacking a lawn mower.

It's just outside London and would involve lawn mow for back and front smallish lawns, weeding (not desperate weedage) and putting the chippings back in the chippings bit instead of spread all over place (as the children have achieved) and putting some compost in two planters I have but can't lift.

Maybe a sweep up too, since I have a helper.

He may discover cat poo here and there - would he be disgusted? The cats poo all over the front lawn - they are not my cats incidentally.

my fortnightly gardener man (retired, does it to keep busy etc) charges £10 an hour. For that he mows the grass and does a bit of general maintenance. Every now and then we have a professional gardener come and do a proper prune, cut back etc etc. She charges (if i remember correctly) £25 per hour and for that she brings all her own tools and takes away all the rubbish.
Hope this helps.
