What can I do for St Georges day?

I am Activities Co-ordinator for an old peoples home, and have done St Davids, St patricks etc. I'd like to do a round-britain in biscuits/cakes, and thought of Bath Buns, Eccles cakes, chelsea buns etc. Any other ideas for a typically english snack? Nothing too large (so not roast beef and yorkshires, unfortunately) but just something to have with a cuppa, maybe as part of a quiz - identify the cake maybe.

Over to you

Oh, a cream tea. Delicious!

Strawberries and cream?

Victoria sponge cake?

Or a small selection of regional cheeses to identify? Cheshire, Lancashire, Cheddar etc.

Thanks all. I think strawberries would be great in summer but I won;t buy them in April! victoria sponge would be good - something small tho. Maybe I should do different biscuits - any ideas, other than Bath olivers and shrewsbury biscuits? Lincoln biscuits - thats a thing isn;t it?
