Hello Ladies - hoping to call on your collective expertise!

Have just bought this pushchair second hand (not collected it yet) but can anyone help me figure out exactly what it is? Seller just described it as Peg Perego single pushchair.

I've uploaded the image to my picture if you would be so kind as to take a look.

Is it a mamas and papa's pushchair, or is Peg Perego also an independent brand? Googled them and they appear to make kids ride on toys etc.

TIA.

PP is the European name for M&P as far as I am aware.

pooka · 14/04/2009 14:22

Your profile not public, I think?

abermum · 14/04/2009 14:22

you don't have a profile page! or not one that's public anyways!

Sycamoretree · 14/04/2009 14:22

It is a M&P Aria I think.

Sycamoretree · 14/04/2009 14:48

Paws - is that footmuff/sleeping bag thing something you would have to buy extra then? Have looked at the aria online and they don't seem to come with them...

looks like MP Aria, yes PP is MP.

Pawslikepaddington · 14/04/2009 14:54

The footmuff is sold seperately, yes.

Sycamoretree · 14/04/2009 14:56

Thanks Ladies. I'm just trying to figure out what I've got in addition to the actual stroller. The footmuff looks quite sturdy doesn't it? Almost as though it's more of a carry cot? Or am I blind?

It does look very much like the Aria dot to dot. The handle, the tray and the wheels. I'm glad as it's supposed to lightweight and easy to fold flat, which is great as this is a second stroller to keep in my car.

The other pics I've seen of this say on Ebay seem to have more relaxed (!) looking footmuffs.

hi there i think you will find its the m&p 0-zon and yes the newer ones are pramettes so you be right thinking its more sturdy,....but it maybe a aria they are so similar so its hard to tell from the pic,

MollieO · 15/04/2009 23:00

I had one. Definitely a M&P Aria. I found it a bit unyielding for want of a better word. Not particularly nice to push, rather brittle and jarring. Easy to fold flat if you have the knack - sometimes it would stick and need a shake to get it to release.

Footmuff looks like a footmuff! Nothing like a cot imo. Maybe they've stuffed something down the bottom to make it stand out?

Sycamoretree · 17/04/2009 13:51

Well, ladies. I know you are all dying to find out that this is actually the Peg Pergo centro as can be seen here

And you're right - just a footmuff!

I got it for £8!

Hi - Peg Perego expert here the video is of the P3 not the centro or aria . If it is the Aria it will be written on the side.

www.culladelbimbo.it/brands.asp?cat=13&idMacroNowOn=2# Full link to some of the Peg Perego brands here

Including the Centro and the Aria - I don't think over here they did the Centro in that colour ...but I could be wrong !
The Centro is big and bulky when folded !

Sycamoretree · 17/04/2009 14:40

Yes, that's the one. It says centro on the frame - tis bulky when folded but very light and ridiculously easy to fold.

Yes, the clip is not what the little picture link I clicked on suggested it would be!

this is the fella

In that same colourway. Don't ask me why I'm so obsessed with figuring it out!

That looks like the pushchair I had for ds1 The M&P O-zon

Rosa · 17/04/2009 15:02

I have just sold mine on .....I agree it is very light to push round but it was a pain to put in the car it took up the whole of the boot. It will last for ages Pegs seem to go on and on and on ..Esp the ' standard ones'
