Hi - I just want one thing from their online store, am happy to go into the shop to pick it up - I just don't want to register all my details as I know they charge for their directory every 6 months (or however often it comes out).

Is there a way?

Yes, think I have before. Called up instead of online - as long as you're happy to collect it from the store then there's no charge, and I didn't have to register.

Nope They want you in their clutches You could try ringing a store if you know exactly what it is and that it's in store as well as on line. A lot of their stuff isn't.

LOL at x-posts,

What about going into my local shop and pretending I don't have an address, so they will lose the sale unless they order it in just for me,

(though they may be suspicious of the homeless lady who orders bathroom accessories)

I have purchased before, I didn't want an account. I purchased the items on my credit card, didn't ask for a catalogue and when they sent me a credit agreement later on, told them that I didn't want one.

Haven't heard from them since so it can be done.

bodiddly · 01/04/2009 13:37

I think that if you go into the store and just say you dont want an account but want to order from the catalogue then they will order it for you for in store pick up!

EyeballsintheSky · 01/04/2009 16:21

And don't get a Next account whatever you do, it's lethal. The poor home delivery lady must be contemplating moving in next door to me! It's so easy to order from them

AnyFuckerStealsHerKidsEggs · 01/04/2009 16:28

eh?

I have recently ordered stuff from the Next website to be home-deivered. I wasn't even asked to set up an account.

I just paid and that was it.

spicemonster · 01/04/2009 16:30

They wouldn't let me do that. I had to set up an account and now they send me stupid catalogues all the time.

AnyFuckerStealsHerKidsEggs · 01/04/2009 16:33

how strange, have not been sent any catalogues

is there a separate Next directory website as opposed to the normal Next one ?

hifi · 01/04/2009 17:32

last time i bought something they set up an account but i paid the amount there and then. do mention you dont want a catalogue.

sazm · 01/04/2009 17:34

yep just go into the shop with the item number and they will order it in for you,
you need to pay for it when you order it,

Stilla · 01/04/2009 18:05

sazm is right - order what you want at the till - pay for it . When you collect ,clothes can be tried on and you can return there and then if wrong size etc .
