Anyone else done one? Picked one up from dds school as I want to be a parent helper.

Ah well - guess they have to keep things safe now with things that have happened around and about. Thing is though it's gonna take near on three months for it to go through once I hand it back in.

to be honest when i was done there were about 500 people being done at work so it felt quite normal.

What scares me is that it's only really foolproof on the day they check! Hence why they need to be re-done regularly!!

Hope it's not too long, when mine was delayed due to a change of address issue I was made to fill out a disclaimer and old police check form and work checked out refernces by phone to enable me to start work before it came through. School will prob not do that tho so hope it's quick for you!

I hope not. Dd keeps asking when I'm going to help in her school. I help at my other dds pre-school.
