Please give me advice .......DS + DIARRHOEA + SCHOOL

Please help

DS is nearly 10 years

He came home today from school had 2 trips to toilet

Said he had been twice at school as well

He ate all his tea {before I had realised}

Which included a bananna and milk

Now what do we do?

He is fine in himself

Not sick

Does he go to school?

Please tell us what to do

I have always thought he shouldn't with S & D

BUT this is D with no S

Please help what would you do?

I am worried that he may not get to toilet in time if in Assembly.

BUT I don't want him to miss school

Is it something he has eaten?

I would keep him off for at least 24 hours. That is the policy at my kid's schools. Keep them off 24 hours after last bout of D. Stops the bug spreading. Also I think it will better if he stays off for 1 day just incase he does have it again (then is in the comfort of his own home).

I'm a nurse, the rules for us are that after d or v we should stay off work for 24hrs. See how he goes overnight perhaps? Poor ds.
