Found a very sweet but elderly dog roaming along a busy dual carriageway - I've brought her home but where do I take her?

ok - wasn't sure if they'd take her but I guess it'd definitely be where I'd look first if I'd lost her.

Sigh of relief that not young manic brown dog that has just escaped from our garden!

No number on the tag?

Your local council will have a dog warden.

paranoidmother · 20/03/2009 11:39

local vet or police station. the vets will check it over and perhaps recognise the dog. other than that local council will have dog handlers

Police won't always take them, the council should have a dog warden that will come and collect him. Hopefully someone has reported him missing already and the dog warden can return him home
