Soft play groups

Was thinking of taking dd aged 2.2 to tumbletots or a jojingles type music group. All activity groups seem to be quite expensive- you have to pay up front for at least 6 or 12 sessions. I don't mind paying if they are worth the money. Which are good ones to go to? How much is an average amount to pay? Any info would be much appreciated.

Whereabouts are you sally? If you're in a sure start area they sometimes have alloted times in soft play venues and it's cheaper - sometimes they give you a voucher and it's free.

Hi Welshmum. I'm in Sutton Coldfield in Birmingham.

Might be worth ringing Children Services in your local council and seeing where the Sure Start areas are - or at last they should be able to send you a list of activities for little ones near you.
