Size conversion from us to UK, can anyone help.

Hi, I have been given some clothes that I want to sell on ebay.

They are from USA and are sizes 4, 6, 8 etc etc. I have not got the foggest clue what they are in our sizes.

Can anyone help me.

10 is UK12
12 is UK14

another reference is Lands End online catalogue. Its an American company that also sells over here.

last time i was in NY my size was 5/6 (in UK im a 10/12)

I wear size 7 in US, size 12 in UK, so that's add 5!

I looove American sizing as it's the only time in my life that I'm a 12 !!!! (usual size 16 !)

NomDePlume, that doesn't match the Gap sizing which is as Irishbirdd says (6US = 10UK). How bizarre.

I think you have to add different numbers depending on whether it is a Juniors', Misses', or Women's size (they aren't all on the same scale). For Misses, you add 2 to covert a US size to a UK size.
