Just tried and I was able to log in. Sorry if that is no help.
Is it logging in that is the problem or reading an actual mail?

lou33 · 17/04/2005 20:09

i type in my address and password then a page comes up saying it has no data and i have a blank screen

Sorry, never heard of that problem before. I hate hotmail because it is so problematic.

Will have a word with my brother, see if he has any ideas. Will get back to you if he comes up with anything useful.

SaintGeorge · 17/04/2005 20:36

Are you trying to access it via MSN messenger, from the MSN home page or via a direct link to hotmail?

lou33 · 17/04/2005 20:43

from my faves in mozilla

thanks

have you tried just putting hotmail.com in the URL box and going in that way, lou?

lou33 · 17/04/2005 20:47

yep no luck

Have been busy googling - apparently this is quite a common problem with mozilla.

JanH · 17/04/2005 20:52

rebooting?

This happens to me sometimes, with me it has something to do with IE and being "offline", sometimes I get a prompt to work online instead or something.

(I don't even know what mozilla is!)

SaintGeorge · 17/04/2005 20:54

(I think) it's another name for Firefox.

SaintGeorge · 17/04/2005 21:02

Lou - check this out.

lou33 · 17/04/2005 21:03

just tried it via ie and page not displayed

OP posts:
JanH · 17/04/2005 23:03

I don't know what Firefox is either, StG! (technonumpty)

Hope you can get in later, lou.

lou33 · 18/04/2005 09:12

seems fine today, it must've been feeling hormonal yesterday

HappyDaddy · 18/04/2005 09:40

hotmail and yahoo are both a bit rubbish because they are free. The parent companies get nothing for maintaining them so don't really need to make them high priority.
I still use them both, though

lou33 · 18/04/2005 09:57

me too, bt rip us off enough, not going to willingly hand over more cash to another company when i can get it for nothing
