Is Ken Livingstone a liberal? www.guardian.co.uk/politics/2005/feb/20/london.politicalcolumnists

Is George Galloway a liberal?

These are essays in a book I am reading now. It's not the only book I am reading, so they don't constitute the totality of the argument. They just raise some interesting issues - difficult issues - but that's not to say we shouldn't try to talk about them in a reasonable way - hopefully. The object is to have a discussion about what it is to be a leftist liberal in the UK today and if, as Cohen asserts, the left and especially liberalism, has lost it's way.
