DH started working work as an LSA in a special school in Sept. Had been self-employed carpenter for yonks although he has a BEd as a KS2 teacher.
HT is very pleased with him. Today she called him into her office for a review and told him they will support him to complete his probationary year as a teacher (which he never did) with a view to taking on a full teaching post at the school. He is walking round in a daze . He has never felt so appreciated in a job in his entire career. He always wanted to work with special needs so it's damn near perfect.
Just had to share.....
