How many threads is this now?

OP posts:

Ceilings are no fun.
I think painting the woodwork has made more of a difference than painting the walls.
Oggs, i didn't know DT was in Goblet of Fire. RP was in it too, looking very handsome indeed. Shame he got killed.

EdwardCullensWife · 02/04/2009 11:17

Woo hoo! My DVD's arrived. No painting for me this afternoon then...

EdwardCullensWife · 02/04/2009 11:23

The special features DVD has got deleted scenes, trailers, interviews, extended scenes, premiere footage etc. Goody!

Berrie · 02/04/2009 11:29

Humph! But it's not the 6th of April!!!!!
Let me know if it's worth downloading the 2nd cd...

Berrie · 02/04/2009 11:30

Was that Stephanie Meyer sitting in the cafe scene?

EdwardCullensWife · 02/04/2009 11:38

I think so.

EdwardCullensWife · 02/04/2009 14:51

Berrie, the extra features DVD is worth a look, especially the deleted scenes and other scenes that they cut chunks out of that they show in full. They even how Edward killing Bella in that first biology class.

Berrie · 02/04/2009 15:14

Oooo sounds good...what shall I search for specifically...I remember seeing the disk when I downloaded the movie but can't seem to find it now.

Berrie · 02/04/2009 15:17

Am giving swimming lesson a miss this afternoon but am going to attempt to go to parents evening.

EdwardCullensWife · 02/04/2009 16:21

Not sure what to search for - you could always buy the DVD instead. It was only £13 from Tesco.

Berrie · 02/04/2009 16:27

Have not earned any money for 3 weeks and won't earn any during the Easter holidays.

EdwardCullensWife · 02/04/2009 16:32

Try searching Twilight special features.

EdwardCullensWife · 02/04/2009 16:33

Did you know RP sang two of the songs on the film. He's got a cracking voice.

ZebsRoomofHerOwn · 02/04/2009 18:17

I'm loving this unemployed lark. The sun is shining and I spent most of the day in Falmouth, eating my lunch looking across to St Mawes. Sigh.... Actually, I've been seriously busy and haemorraging money on the house. I think I need a holiday!

Oh, and I am also reading Breaking Dawn. Is it me or does Bella need one enormous slap? (and that's putting it mildly). I kinda thought she did in the last one as well, but I was too polite to say.

Am I right to think the DVD is a must?

EdwardCullensWife · 02/04/2009 18:22

You're right, she does. and the DVD is a must.
What have you been buying for the house? Furniture? Nick nacks? Links to best items please.

ZebsRoomofHerOwn · 02/04/2009 18:34

I'm glad it's not just me.

I've just been buying "stuff" really. 'faux suede' roman blinds - cream for downstairs, chocolate for upstairs. Kitcheny things like a bread bin, wire shelves, bog brushes, bog roll holders... All very very cheap and cheerful from a place called The Range. I'm trying for the classy modern neutral look - one of my sofa's is a v light brown the other is a blue/green. Walls are all magnolia, floor's light wood - you get the idea?

All I need now is a washing machine and dishwasher.

My friend's coming to stay this weekend with her family, so I'm going to make her hubby useful with a drill. Oh, and he's going to collect my "new" fridgefreezer as well whilst me and friend sit in the garden drinking wine and gossiping.

EdwardCullensWife · 02/04/2009 18:38

Sounds lovely. its been a while since you had a garden hasn't it, or did the flat have one?
Describe the house for me - how many bedrooms, big/small kitchen etc.

Berrie · 02/04/2009 18:44

DD fell down the stairs earlier...horrible.

EdwardCullensWife · 02/04/2009 18:48

Oh no. Is she ok?

ZebsRoomofHerOwn · 02/04/2009 18:54

Downstairs is a big sitting room/kitchen, sort of L-shaped with doors into the garden. It all feels huge and spacious and bright, which is lovely, and as it's a new build it's all shiny. Downstairs also has a study, loo and broom cupboard. Oooh, not to mention underfloor heating. My God, what a revelation!!!! I can never go back to radiators again.

Upstairs is my bedroom, which is huge with en suite shower, although the roof slopes, so it's a bit rubbish space-wise. Then there's a decent sized bathroom, mid-sized bedroom and the 3rd bedroom is a fairly ok sized child's room. So all in all, I'm well pleased with my rental.

The garden's not brilliant - it's large gravel rather than grass, but it's still a garden, and it's slap bang next to a 'country footpath' with lovely country views - at last. Living in a village, in a grown up house and no bloomin farm to worry about.

EdwardCullensWife · 02/04/2009 18:56

Sounds brilliant Zeb. Will DS have the second bedroom? Will you see him more now?

EdwardCullensWife · 02/04/2009 18:56

Very of you underfloor heating btw.

ZebsRoomofHerOwn · 02/04/2009 18:56

Is she ok Berrie?

ZebsRoomofHerOwn · 02/04/2009 19:00

Yeah. Underfloor heating. Utter utter utter bliss!

DS gets the small room, and hopefully I will see more of him now - I just need to figure out what I'm doing workwise. Meanwhile, I'm having a nice litte break.

Berrie · 02/04/2009 19:22

Yeah she's fine..Think it upset me more, it was very shocking.

Zeb, that sounds really lovely. I don't know, one minute no floors, now heated floors! I've only ever experienced it at Centre Parks!
