Sorry Oggs.
So what do you do with them? Dress mini DT in them?

oggsdog · 17/03/2009 17:39

D'oh!

I hadn't thought of that.

What a brilliant idea.

oggsdog · 17/03/2009 17:40
Grin
EdwardCullensWife · 17/03/2009 18:05

But why knit 2 inch clothes in the first place? Are you short on wool?

Berrie · 17/03/2009 18:20

I was of Bella...the passion!

Berrie · 17/03/2009 18:21

I've finished now anyway...might just have to reread a bit or two then decide what to do about the last book...

EdwardCullensWife · 17/03/2009 18:35

Ew. Jacob. I didn't like him much at all. The Edward bits are far better.
So what did you think of it? Better or worse than the other two. You must start Breaking Dawn now. It's very different from the first three.

EdwardCullensWife · 17/03/2009 18:36

I meant I liked Jacob until page 530.

Berrie · 17/03/2009 20:14

I didn't feel quite the same with this book...about Edward I mean.Maybe it was the gap betwen books. I did like Jacob despite his faults.
I think it's really very clever, much cleverer than it seems.

EdwardCullensWife · 17/03/2009 20:56

I'd intended not to read tonight but I couldn't resist a peak at Midnight Sun on the author's website. The first 12 chapters are there.

Berrie · 18/03/2009 08:11

What's it like?

EdwardCullensWife · 18/03/2009 09:05

Pretty good, actually. Bella's a much more appealing character when you look at her through his eyes. And it makes a lot of things in Twilight make sense. You get to see so much more of what was going on with the Cullens during that time. Shame it's only 12 chapters so far.

Berrie · 18/03/2009 10:02

Dh cleaning up downstairs just now in case I manage to venture down today. He is hoping to go to work tomorrow but we need someone to take ds to school and pick him up. My Mum and Dad are away. My Mum friend in Ds's class has a 4 week old baby so I don't feel I can ask her when she already has to get 3 children up to school of a morning...at the same time the morning school run makes dh miss 2 hours of holiday and I can imagine friend saying I should have asked...maybe the neighbours...oh dear...

Berrie · 18/03/2009 13:35

Oggs where do you keep mi DT?

EdwardCullensWife · 18/03/2009 15:06

Ask the mum friend Berrie. I bet she'd be pleased to help.
What are you doing today? I've read the rest of Midnight Sun and been to the hairdressers. Both DSs are on a playdate today so I might go to Sainsbury's. Sooooo exciting.

ZebsRoomofHerOwn · 18/03/2009 15:11

Went to a friend's house last night. All of a sudden it was 2am. But she's going through relationship difficulties. Honestly, it was a sacrifice for her sake I think I'm getting old. Tonight's going to be an early one and I'm going to start on Twilight. So it had better be good.

And how the devil are you lot? Is your back any better Berrie?

Berrie · 18/03/2009 15:16

Oh I'm sooooooo bored!
DH took ds to the model shop this morning and both dc to fil's this afternoon.I'm still in bed...don't really want to see what dh thinks is tidy downstairs We usually fall out when my back goes as I feel so frustrated about all the things I can see need doing. Being upstairs has avoided that. My Mum doesn't leave until mid morning so she's coming to take ds to school though she managed to wind me up telling me he didn't need a car seat for just going up the hill.(My Mum is an appallingly dangerous driver - once reversed back onto a motorway island having taken a wrong turn and caused a crash on the way to a wedding dress fitting - then drove off- with me as accomplice!)
Decided to save the last book a bit longer as I'm going to be alone with dd tomorrow and that in itself will be a bit of a trial.
I can at least walk to the bathroom now without the screaming. Better head downstairs later so that I can get dh to sor out anything I would be ashamed of should I need to call on a friend tomorrow.

Berrie · 18/03/2009 15:19

Zeb, starting Twilight and an early night do not go together!

ZebsRoomofHerOwn · 18/03/2009 17:08

I shall let you know!!!!!

EdwardCullensWife · 18/03/2009 17:39

Yes, you read all that highbrow nonsense don't you. Twilight ain't highbrow. Just in case, be prepared for a very late night.

EdwardCullensWife · 19/03/2009 00:07

I was in a pub quiz team tonight and there was an Edward Cullen question. Really, what are the chances?

Berrie · 19/03/2009 06:59

What was the question?

Well Zeb?

Am downstairs!

oggsdog · 19/03/2009 07:21

Morning

What a happy coincidence Lyra. But did you get it right??

Zeb, how's the book going? Have you fallen for Eddie boy?

Berrie, how's the back today. Do hope it's easier and that you're not in too much pain.
Poor mini DT doesn't have an official home yet; he's languishing in the bottom of my bag with the Dr Who diary for company.

oggsdog · 19/03/2009 07:23

Yay! How had dh done on the tidy home front?

Berrie · 19/03/2009 07:36

Tee hee, I imagined you might tuck him in your bra!

Mmm ... well Dh thinks that tidy means nothing on the floor and hoovered. So the first thing I saw was lots and lots of stuff on the table. It's ok I suppose...not seen the kitchen. He did his best

Dc are fed..ds is dressed..have not persuaded him to head upstairs to wash and brush teeth yet. I've got a flask, the tv clickers and the laptop...I'll be fine.

Oggs, I think you need to read Twilight and save HP.
