Does anyone know the car park fees for an overnight stay in the Regency Sq car park please? TIA

Sorry, no, but it is bound to be a LOT. You'd be better off dropping stuff off at Regency Sq, parking on the outskirts and getting a bus back in...
Churchill Sq (shopping ctr) is the cheapest place to park in the centre of town, but no idea if it allows overnight. If so, I would guess at min £25. NCP control most of the other ones (although the council may run Regency Sq). What about on-street parking - there may be non-resident bays near there?
Sorry - not too helpful am I? Tis late...

Lol, its for a hotel and they reccomend RS i don't know Brighton at all so i was just going along with them.

You could try phoning the council to find out charges, but I think their tourist phone line is a high-cost one . If you are staying at Regency Square, then you are unlikely to need a car while you are there, so leaving it outside the parking restriction area might not be a bad idea. I assume the hotel should know how much the charges are - if they aren't sure, then I suspect it is because it is high...

I found this just outside regency Square, for £10 overnight, i wonder if its any good?

Also anyone know of any good resturants round that way?

The Gingerman is very good.

GreenEggsAndSpam · 21/02/2009 23:58

Never heard of them tbh. Can't imagine the site they use is very big, so wonder how they make a profit . It does sound a reasonable price though...
Lots of restaurants near there. Loads in the Lanes - 10 mins walk eastwards, loads in Preston Street - couple of mins walk westwards. A nice fish one at the bottom of RS itself, or you could pop the the Grand or Metropole for a posh dinner - both very close.

GreenEggsAndSpam · 22/02/2009 00:00

Gingerman good, but quite pricey. Well regarded though.
I thought RS car park was council run. Doesn't mean it will be cheap though!

I shall have to have a furk about see if i can find some parking prices. I will let DP sort dinner, his mission (which he WILL except) is to spend the day and night treating me like a Princess as its my birthday! I have already told him i want cocktails delivered up to the room and a cup cake hamper. [spoilt rotton emotion]

Maybe we could train it up there were not to far?

Or, again a bit pricey but very lovely anfd right down on the pebbles looking out at the west pier is due south. But if yo're after a more budget option you can't go far wrong with The Regency, as Green Eggs suggested, it's a real local institution for good fish, steak and standards. Have a nice time!

Bump for anyone who knows more about carpark costs. Thanks
