San Remo Fans Unite......
Welcome , Ciao ,

OP posts:

When I lived in Chiswick, I stood next to Matthew Kelly (I know I'm a shortie, but he is tall!) at the roast chicken counter (I hadn't realised it was him, nearly said hi as I knew I knew him, but couldn't remember ), then (same place, see we lived in slebland ) I saw Dec (from Ant & Dec) - well, DP maintains I was stalking him, but I just happened to be going where he was going, like picking up some cornflakes...

oh, nearly forgot, I saw Brad Pitt at a Leicester Sq premiere when I first came to London, he still had his long blond hair then...

francagoestohollywood · 23/02/2009 17:36

sunflower! How was brad with long hair?

Bucharest · 23/02/2009 17:38

Like a hamster with a hairdresser phobia?

Our Mp down here is one of the many Carlucci sisters of course, so we are inundated with z-listers.

francagoestohollywood · 23/02/2009 17:40

rofllllllllllllllll!!!

Really? One of the Carlucci sisters? God how many are them? They are evil. Keep away buch

Sputnik · 23/02/2009 17:43

I probably wouldn't know a sleb if they came up and slapped me in the face!

Beforesunrise, saw your thread, there's not much you can do other than carry on offering. Is she getting a tooth? They often eat a lot less when teeth are coming through. I can really sympathise with you though as since DS had the flu he has eaten very little, and it's starting to get me down. Basically for a month all he's eaten is banana, crackers, biscottini and yogurt. He is still bf so at least there is that. Then the other day we had pizza and he ate half a pizza, so I really don't know any more. All the stuff he used to eat without fail like soup, pasta, rice, just gets spat out.

francagoestohollywood · 23/02/2009 17:50

Yes, it can often be teething. How old is your ds Sputnik? My dear friend's dd has always been a great eater and went through a phase of eating very little recently (she is just 2) for quite a while. She seems to have her appetite back now, meanwhile her canines have grown and she's also started to speak. A lot. She is cute

javierbardem · 23/02/2009 18:01

you saw kevin!!!!! the eminently shaggable kevin????

da most: i thought he was shaggable, until he started to go on and on and on about his mamma, very offputting. and he doesn't half love himself.

javierbardem · 23/02/2009 18:03

da mosto

Sputnik · 23/02/2009 18:04

He's 20 months. Hmm, that's interesting, I think he has all his teeth apart from the canines, maybe that's the problem. It's dispiriting though, he ate a good range of stuff til recently.

Right off to do dinner.

SunflowerNeedsSunshine · 23/02/2009 18:07

he was better in the flesh than on screen, franca, but then I had a soft spot for him...

oh, the carluccis will be around in 100 years time, I'm sure...

DS ate pretty much everything til he was 1, most fruit and veg, cooked or fresh. after that, I'm sure an alien came and replaced him with a fussy clone...

francagoestohollywood · 23/02/2009 18:11

Sputnik I think that's the typical age when they can go all funny with their food ime.

francagoestohollywood · 23/02/2009 18:12

mmm is he tall? Never really fancied BP that much, but I'd be happy to see him in flesh...

DamonBradleylovesPippi · 23/02/2009 19:36

how can I have not thought about him!! did you speak to him in italian? aparently he's fluent. was he nice to you?

thought the same as you javier about that da mosto. although I quite enjoyed his p[rogramme (only saw one).

sunflower dh did that with some celeb - not remember who. he said hello do I know you from school? and he said no I'm on telly or smthng. dh was well ambarassed. I almost dd with robert de niro but he looked at me with such an evil glare (to say 'do not even try to come close') that I was frozen to the spot. it took me a while to realize who he was. useless.

will watch a movie tonight so won't be here later.

francagoestohollywood · 23/02/2009 19:40

what are you watching?

Oh, de niro is said to be terrible. One of those who doesn't want his entourage to look him in the eyes...

DamonBradleylovesPippi · 23/02/2009 19:42

yes he was scary. I really did not know who he was, was just staring as he was walking in opposite direction to me on a deserted path in central park. he had is son with him (I didn;t know he had one). after I saw a picture of the pap of him and the son in the park. That's when I could really be sure he was him. I imagine he's have beaten me up if I dared ask for an autograph. not that I would.

vicky cristina barcellona.

DamonBradleylovesPippi · 23/02/2009 19:43

oh you must watch slumdog millionare. I watched it and is fab.

francagoestohollywood · 23/02/2009 19:46

Yes, I've been told is very good too.
I still have romanzo criminale to watch...

DamonBradleylovesPippi · 23/02/2009 19:52

I've got that too. a friend gave me a copy ages ago and I've just found it in one of the boxes. now I might understand what's all this fuss about scamy.

gio71 · 23/02/2009 19:56

Hi all, am back in Italy and can eat only minestra for at least a week because I ate so many m&s caramel slices and flapjacks when was in UK
You have chatted sooo much and have missed loads but there is one post I can't let go without commenting on - Rosa am SO that you saw Wham's final concert! I would have given anything to see that and if they ever get back together for a gig I will camp outside ticket office for a week like sad old woman queing for Cliff Richard tickets!!! Am still slightly in love with Andrew Ridgeley

DamonBradleylovesPippi · 23/02/2009 19:58

gio welcome back! LOL

javierbardem · 23/02/2009 20:00

you make deniro sound like travis bickle!

is javier eminently shaggable in "vicki"? cannot wait it gets to dvds (for us poor mortals who have to wait for stuff to come on dvd....)

if you want a scammy, just go downsouth, honestly, there a thousands of them.

javierbardem · 23/02/2009 20:01

ciao gio!
andrew is gay, no?

Sputnik · 23/02/2009 20:04

Gio, I was wondering were you had got to

francagoestohollywood · 23/02/2009 20:09

Lol! Ciao Gio, welcome back (and at the flapjacks etc)

Nonononono Javier. I don't agree. I think scamy is particularly attractive.

gio71 · 23/02/2009 20:14
