Costume

I need to find a costume (like the one the Andrews Sisters wore for Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy from Company B) for my 10 year old. I have no idea where to get the costume, or even the material to make one. I have trawled the internet, with no success. Can you help? .... and of course I need it yesterday soon

What colour? was just thinking that you could get an old school shirt and an A line skirt and dye them the appropriate colour. Add a tie and mess about with a piece of fabric/crepe paper to fashion a cap. that's what I'd do.

obviously the skirt would have to start out in a light colour to take the dye easily.
