It's just not there, it went all fuzzy and has now gone altogether. All other channels still there. What do we do, who should we call, how do I get to watch Emmerdale and Corrie as I'm making dinner again? Please help. TC x

Sky plus? Cable or digital?

vict17 · 10/04/2005 20:07

If it's Sky unplug, leave for about 30 seconds and plug back in

ThomCat · 10/04/2005 20:10

No the NTL ITV in the front room is okay, this is for the terrestrial tv, normal non sky, in kitchen and bedroom. The kitchen is where I need to watch Corrie while making dinner.

Probably the transmitter down in your area if all other channels OK

RTMTMML · 10/04/2005 20:13

have you tried: retuning it, banging it, turning it on and off again, getting DH to make dinner?!!!!!!!!!!!!

ThomCat · 10/04/2005 20:22

PMSL RTMTMML!

So galaxy, what do I do?

I still haven't got ITV in the kitchen or bedroom and I still don't know what to do

If Sky (dish?) and NTL (cable?) are both ok then it sounds like either transmitter - but unlikely after 2 days - or TV aerial. Do you have a normal aerial on the roof? It may have shifted slightly and lost reception.

What area are you in - better still do you know which transmitter you recieve from? I can check if there are transmitter problems if you want.

ThomCat · 12/04/2005 16:14

SaintGeorge, thanks for your post, yes it must be the arial. In in Pinner, Middlesex btw. What do we do, are there people we can call that come round and reajust ariels?

Yes, try yellow pages. Could be looking at £30 - £50 though.

ThomCat · 12/04/2005 16:24

Okay, ummmm, probably the stupid question of the week but what would they be under in yellow pages?

Aerials

Which ITV region is that? (I'm crap on geography, don't know what you fall under)

ThomCat · 12/04/2005 16:29

OH! How funny! Err, yes that would be a good place to start. I was thinking what ... oh I'm not even going to justify it, I was just being properly dim!
