COuldn't find an appropriate other thread for this.

Yesterday I was brushing dd's hair and putting in a ponytail. It was all tangled so I used some of the detangler spray for kids, and it worked really well. Then the phone rang.
When I went downstairs (after having got rid of telesales rubbish) I found dd (3) spraying ds's (14 months) hair - with DE-ICER spray that dh had brought out of the car as he wont need it for a while!
It came off OK but I dread to think what would have happened if it had got in his eyes!

Dd'd reasoning 'I was just making him nice for you, Mummy'

Once found ds cutting up strawberries with a pair of scissors (a whole punnet by the way).

I think he had a white shirt on too - so you can imagine the mess... bright red strawberry juice everywhere.

Most of the things my kids have done are on the Anti Tips thread...

My brother used to wear my mums sanitary towels as shinpads to play football with his mates.Oh the shame.

Myds3 whos 2 hung tampax on the xmas tree thinking they were decorations. Must be a male thing in the family.

lou33 · 03/04/2003 17:39

My ds who's 4 took a tampax out of it's applicator and insisted on carrying it everywhere in his bag as his pet mouse.

When DS was about 2ish, I was asked to sign the accident book at nursery one evening,......he had got his head trapped, in the microwave part, of the play kitchen, it had taken three nursery nurses to free him.

I really could go on forever, I have 4.5 yo twin boys, who have got themselves into so many scrapes, and proberbly planty to come.

At 18 months they managed, between them, to pull the door off the front of my washing mashine !!!

Jack Dee the comedian, said having twins was like constant slap stick, and I think I'd agree.

Last Summer,DH called to me to look out of the window, the boys had stripped off in the garden, one was bent over, while the other one, was trying to push the stem of a sunflower up the firsts bottom.

LOL at the sunflower story!

Wills · 03/04/2003 18:52

ARRRGGH dd has just pulled up the 10 lavender bushes that I planted over the weekend. They are currently sitting in a line on her slide. I suspect she thought she was helping me weed!!!!

Hilary · 03/04/2003 22:09

Also LOL at the sunflower story. That's hilarious.

jac34 · 03/04/2003 22:54

After I stopped laughing I was quite annoyed as my Dad had grown the Sunflowers for them, and they wrecked them all, so know how you feel,Wills

Have just discovered that those squdgey child toilet seats fit perfectly over the head of a 2 year old and that their ears make it very tricky to remove.

Twice in the last 16 hours in fact.
