Ds and his paper aeroplane obsession!

Ds (5) loves making paper aeroplanes. He even designs his own planes! He makes new ones everyday, the amount of paper we are going through is astronomical. The drawer he puts them in is stuffed full to overflowing.

I suggested he clear some of them out so he had space for new ones. Tears welled in his eyes and he replied in a sad little voice "But Mummy, those aeroplanes are my life..."

After that I didn't have the heart to make him throw any away. Instead I will wait til he is back at school and do it myself

Of course dd (3) likes to make them too, and even though they are, dare I say it...nothing more than a bit of folded up paper...they are just as precious to her, and she likes to keep them too!
