I've just noticed that I'm the last poster on most of the top active conversations, which leads me to think that I'm the only saddo still up, and therefore it will take approximately 20 minutes before I've covered all topics and am left talking to myself, which I probably am anyway!
I'm waiting for labour to start and I can't sleep. Went to the hospital for an assessment today and I'm already 3-4cm dilated apparently and I'm to go back later this morning for my waters to be broken and to go on a drip if contractions haven't started properly by then. In the meantime, I came home this evening, had tea, watched telly, done all the normal things we do of an evening, just when DP said he was going to bed at 11pm I thought I'd do a bit of housekeeping as I wasn't tired, and I've been to bed and can't sleep, run a bath and still can't sleep and finally come downstairs to try and kip on the settee but still can't sleep, so I've turned on the laptop and now have BBC News 24 and Mumsnet for company!
p.s. I've had two uncomfortable contractions in the last 45 minutes so possibly sitting upright with the laptop on my knee is helping things along. That's my excuse anyway!
