How much do childrens entertainers charge normally ?

Hi, has anyone heard of Captain Coconut the bubble man for childrens parties?
I've heared he charges about £200.
I know he's very good, as we've seen him at another party. Is that about the going rate for childrens entertainers? The show is only 1 hour long.
We are going to hire a church hall for the party, I'm now thinking of cheeper options like a bouncy castle. I'm quite shy though and wouldn't feel comfortable organising the children for pass the pastle etc. I would be fine if the parents wern't there.
If you have any other ideas please let me know. It'll be for about 15 3-4 year olds.

That's an awful lot of dough for a 1hr show.

The best (imo) entertainer round here would charge about £60-70 for one hour. She also does a total themed party with show, games, face painting and balloons but even that is much less that £200.

I wouldn't consider that kind of cash tbh - soft play would be cheaper.

If you don't fancy organising games what about just putting big toys in the hall (scooters, mini tramp, pop ups, trike, ride-ons) and letting them play?

That sounds more like it. £60-£70 is about what I expected to pay.
I think I'll have to shop around a bit.
