Was watching Ratatouille with ds1 (5) who came up with:Rats aren't actually nice mama, and in after school club we kill them...
Am now not sure what to do about this. He did not want to go into detail about it, as was enjoying the movie too much, but he got me quite worried. After school club is held in the same hall where they have their school dinners etc.
Any advice on how to deal with this?

sounds like childish imagination to me. I would ignore.

am not sure. he does not usually make things up. i think i'll just ignore, at least if he does not bring it up again.

i would say it is a game like whack a rat etc.

Imagine you going into school to mention about rats and thats the reason lol

I would maybe just say "do you have a game with rats in that you play? Just DS has been saying about killing rats in the after school club and I couldnt work out what he meant"!!!!!!!
