The housing market and general process in Italy sounds quite nightmarish; FIL is trying to sell a flat at the moment.

Houses are shifting more slowly now, mainly because people aren't prepared to lower their prices by much, or so I believe. My neighbours took 18 months to sell theirs despite being in a central location. Also, apparently here in Brianza everyone wants 2nd bathrooms and their crime was only having one.

DP is still out at his serata. He comes it at 3am all cold and tries to warm himself up against me. I am not amused, I can tell you.

penthe "dai" is the only word DP has learnt to say properly, usually said to DS when he has to get ready for bed

I use dai a lot with DD instead of the English equivalent, as well as basta. They sound so much more effective.

Sorry that was blunt. I'm just in a hurry because dh rashes me and complains if I'm still reading when he switches off his light. Perhaps we need 2 bedrooms

yes, basta is the other one he uses quite well (actually, he seems to speak italian a lot when he gets impatient/annoyed with DS )
