Morning disturbances...

Having gone through this scenario recently, does anyone else experience their young children being woken up by your partners leaving for work in the mornings?? Luckily my dh starts work at different times, sometimes late, sometimes early, but on the early mornings he just seems incapable of being quiet. If ds wakes up because of the noise, I then end up having to get up myself, and ds invariably starts yawming and rubbing his eyes after about an hour of being up. I then get left with a ratty child whose waking time tends to be disrupted for a day or so afterwards. It is just so frustrating and annoying. Anyone out there in a similar position?

exactly the same, but luckily it only happens when dh travels abroad for work (usually about once a month) but then it's very early.
Once he left very smug in his belief taht he had been quiet and the moment he closed the front door dd started crying!!!!
I just felt like calling him in the middle of the meeting to tell him what a c**p day I had!!!

Now I invite him to prepare all his stuff downstairs teh night before so he doesn't need to wake us up!!!!
