Hi, I am looking for some help from parents in the know! I am a Community Nurse, I work with adults with Learning Disabilities and challenging behaviour. I am trying to find products (toys), which are chewable and have a flavour for a particular patient I work with. I have found vanilla teethers, but they only seem to be sold in the states. Does anybody know of anything?

It's a good few years since my DDs were babies and toddlers, but lots of chewy toys we bought from the Early Learning Centre smelt very strongly of vanilla - no idea if they tasted of vanilla though. HTH

polly - are you a member of the rnld yahoo group? am sure someone there might be able to help. also speak to the local assessment and treatment service or another inpatient service they may well have some ideas.
