It's not uncommon, I think (I've only ever had nose bleeds when pregnant) but I can't remember why.

It is common in pregnancy. However, be worth getting it checked out with your midwife, sometimes nosebleeds can be caused by high blood pressure.

How odd, me too, I'm only 6wks and hadn't made the connection. Didn't get any last time round though. Might be exacerbated by temperature changes, though, going from freezing outside to overheated rooms - that's what I assumed was causing mine, anyway.

well thats what i assumed mine was to fleacircus. think i shall go get my bp checkd to make sure. well thats if i can actually get in. last week i foned them with bad cramps and they could not see me for 2weeks even though im a high risk and am ment to have open appointments to pop along when i feel the need. makes u wonder.

It's usually caused by pregnancy hormones making your nose/sinuses swell. I've not had nosebleeds as such but everytime I blow my nose their is some blood (sorry!)
