my birthday was a bit weird too this year, as first post baby bday - saw family so main focus was really on DS, rather than me, and of course no break from being on mothering duty!

well i bought some clothes to go out the other night off dp and whilst shopping monday, saw some really nice trendy trainers, ideal with cut offs in warmer months, so bought them and those were dd's present to me!!!

got beautiful cards off both of them though

think im just feeling 'very hard done by' at the moment reg friends etc....im one of those people who needs to be needed

got a lovely bouquet of flowers of friend(with ds) today and were going out for lunch tomorrw(she does have a lot on her plate, as her dh just had v.serious op, so can understand her having other things on her mind)

but still nothing from anyone else, even saw friends mam and sister today, who didnt even mention anything
