Where to get good personal stationery?

I want to order some nice, classical personal stationery (headed paper) online but am not sure where to go. Want the 9" x 7" size (think it is called post quarto but not sure) and want it to look 'nice and classical' but without a hefty price tag. Have found companies that offer a cheap price but don't do 9" x 7" and the paper is of a low weight (thin) and of course have found companies that offer the whole kaboodle for a tidy price!

ooh I think posh stationery is divine (I'm convinced this is an age thing....10 years ago, I couldn't have given a shit about a piece of paper )

what ones for a tidy price have you found?

ooh have just been looking on Smythsons

thing is, surely you won't be using it that much so can justify the horrendous large price on the basis that it'll be used for special occasions?

Yeah, you're right. Usually only use it for notes to the school anyway! We've just received 'thank-you-notes' this week though for Christmas and have had some lovely paper sent. By coincidence we have just run out of our cheap not-very-posh-at-all stuff and I just fancied something special. My problem is I just love stationery - can spend hours drooling over notebooks, diaries, calendars etc . I'll probably re-order from 'Lincraft' - nothing special but a nice price .
