Hi, It's going to be my new years resolution to take better care of my appearence.
Does anyone know what the moisturiser is called by Olay that is supposed to be so good that you don't need foundation? Or if you could recomend any other good moisturisers for combination skin.
Also could anyone reccomend a good excerscise DVD?

I think it's Olay Total effects you're thinking of. I've not tried it myself. I use Nuxe Creme Fraiche on my combination skin, it's lovely, but I do have to still wear foundation but that's because i've got horrid pigmentation patches everywhere.

Don't use exercise videos I'm afraid, I'm a porker

I could probably do with one too, but zero time in my day and I'm not doing it at 9pm!

I don't blame you, I wouldn't either. I'm lucky because my daughter goes to bed at 6pm every night so it gives me a bit of time. I usually spend it on Mums net though.

My ds is always in bed by 7 pm but once I've done the whole hour's worth of clearing up that's required after a day with him destroying the house, I'm knackered and starving so we have dinner at about 8pm then it's too late to start exercising really, so flop on the sofa. Terrible really, I used to run four times a week!

mummyloveslucy · 28/12/2008 21:26

I tried running, I joined a club which was ment to be for beginners, it almost killed me. I thought, there has to be easier ways.

I started really slowly, literally walking 5 mins and running one minute, after a couple of weeks I did 2 mins running four mins walking and so on until I was running for 10 mins at a stretch then I'd walk for a minute and so on. After about a year (seriously, but I was really unfit) I could run 10K in about an hour. That was the fittest I've ever been, but I was motivated as I was getting married that year.
