We are a split family - half and half. So we do Christmas too. I don't want Hannukah lost in the xmas frenzy. We are having a special dinner tomorow - latkes of course and donuts for desert! I thought we would play dreidel inthe afternoon. Light the menorah of course.

Anyone else doing anything special? Any ideas for more fun things we can do?

I'm not very observant - but intend to take DS to a Chabad menorah lighting in the city centre on Tuesday.

A menorah lighting sounds nice - not sure I have heard of one around here though. We don't belong to a synagogue so I can't join in with whatever they are doing.

Just because you don't belong to a synagogue doesn't mean you won't be welcome at any events they are putting on for any festival celebration.

This is the information on what's going on in Trafalgar square www.visitlondon.com/events/detail/4242219 and I think there's also a menorah lighting at Brent Cross over Hannukah.

Chag sameach (happy holidays)!
