i ordered some prints and a t-shirt in November thinking it was plenty of time for them to be here for Christmas.
The prints arrived fine, but no sign of the t-shirt. I emailed to be told they had experienced a problem but that all orders were now being processed and i would receive an e-mail when it was dispatched, at the same time they gave me a small credit back to my card.
Talking to a friend earlier this week, she has had problems too......some of her stuff had arrived, she's waiting for other stuff and can't get a response from them.
I've emailed twice more asking if i will receive this before christmas but no reply yet.

queenrollo - they are famously rubbish - thats why jessops has now gone it alone with their own system.

Mind you everytime that snapfish has buggered up my order I have ended up with two of something because they rerun the order for free - it helps to phone and ask them to do it all over again rather than finding out where the old one has got to.

sorry imho they can sometimes be rubbish...ahem - am I allowed to say that?

BlessThisMess · 20/12/2008 22:02

Oh no, I just (2/3 days ago) put in my first ever order with Snapfish as they were so highly recommended in a Which? report. I do hope the pics come!!!

BlessThisMess - have you ordered prints? I've used them many times for that and never had a problem. It's the first time i've ordered a gift and i'm not holding my breath for it arriving for christmas. Fortunately because ds is only 3 he doesn't know what i've bought his dad from him so at least he's not going to be disappointed by it.

It's prints with 1 enlargement. I just had an e-mail to say they're on the way, so hopefully it'll be OK. I'm just because I thought they were supposed to be so great and maybe I'll never quite trust them now...

My hotos took about 14 days to come. I have been using them for a year but he last few orders have been really slow.

AVOID AVOID AVOID - they took my order for Photobooks on 21 November and I've seen nothing - Christmas gifts for Great-Grandma, Grandpa and Brother & Sister-In-Law still in limbo somewhere. Lots of excuses about 'the time of year' and machines being down and backlogs - duh! - don't most businesses prepare for being busy at this time of year?

Whether you're 'allowed to say it' or not, they're RUBBISH.

Call them (on an up to 8p a minute premium 0870 number - meh!) and demand your money back.

Then NEVER USE THEM AGAIN!

I got 50% back a week ago and then called today and demanded the rest. The order is still open tho - but I'll be very surprised if the Photobooks ever show up.

Stick to Photobox - way better service, customer service and they actually deliver! And they're a Mumsnet partner - so the site gets a commission.

My order had an estimated delivery date of 16th December. They were a bunch of photobooks. I used their online chat and was told it will arrive by Christmas. Still no sign of the photobooks. I will ring tomorrow and demand action. Will never use them again! I now have to go out and get alternative presents.
