Help needed from Creative types - Treasure hunt

Having decided that to hide some of the childrens christmas presents around house in an attempt to keep them occupied (for at least 2 1/2 minutes) I now have to come up with a list of clues I will have 4 children ( 6, 5, 4 and 2.9) so ...............

Anyone want to help

These are the rooms etc

what about picture cards with small phrases on like a mummy washing the dishes because she cannot put them in the dishwasher. a woman holding a lot of dirty washing. children playing with their toys (for the playroom)

Or using the theme the alphabet - cards with different letters on them so B for Bathroom and a picture of a rubber duck, B for bedroom and a picture of a bed,

I am not very good with clues but hope these help

Like the idea of picture clues especialy for the younger 2.

just make sure you know how many presents they have to find or you may find something in the dishwasher etc on the night!!!!
