Benvenuti, ciao hello

Well, one of the pretty girls at my school that was all blonde and slim and everone adored her, well I bumped into her at 23 and she had become very slobby and hugely overweight. I do believe that everyone has their own "blossoming" period. Mine was late 20s/early 30s.

Brangelina · 10/12/2008 21:58

Ditto a boy a really fancied, at 25 he was practically bald.

PippiCalzelunghe · 10/12/2008 22:03

oh that's for sure. I did the same, my best years from 24 to 30.
oh please let's not talk about those 'cute' boys. [vomit] emoticon.

francagoestohollywood · 10/12/2008 22:03

lol lol lol at your mother telling you that the moustache would go away . Mine of course did the same and sent me off to Cornwall for three weeks without giving me a clue on how to sort out the peli on the gambe. I still haven't forgiven her for this. I'm gonna take dd to the most expensive estetista when her peli will be unbearable.
Surely valeria golino never had this problems. Yes she lived in the states, at some stage. making one of my fav movies, which she probably tries to forget about, but she was great in Hot Shots. I'm serious. Plus, after feeling very of her, I have now decided that she is really attractive and sexy and what the hell she had at least 3 of the most attractive men ever, and that is Bentivoglio, Benicio del toro and our beloved Scamy.

Pippi, I got rid of my diaries as too

OP posts:
francagoestohollywood · 10/12/2008 22:05

Yes, I was at my best between 25/30

OP posts:
PippiCalzelunghe · 10/12/2008 22:05

I'm past it now....

francagoestohollywood · 10/12/2008 22:07

Yes, tis over for me. Maledizione.

OP posts:
PippiCalzelunghe · 10/12/2008 22:07

did you??? well luckily dh does not understand italian. as for my girls... I hope they'll read them when I'm gone... there's no good example in those diaries...

francagoestohollywood · 10/12/2008 22:10

Got rid of mine ages ago. Quite pathetic. Totally square. I wish I had a more adventurous adolescenza, really...

OP posts:
Brangelina · 10/12/2008 22:11

I never kept diaries. All my deepest darkest secrets are in my head.

I'm past it too, all my stuffing is slipping, like an old teddy bear.

PippiCalzelunghe · 10/12/2008 22:15

well mine where square and 'mi ama? non mi ama?' sort of thing till one point. then I got into the 'cattive compagnie' and it was still 'mi ama? non mi ama?' but entangled with more underground activities. don't let your fantasies run now... all quite within the normal middle class rebellion cliches tbh - quite pathetic. god knows when I'll have the courage to read them again, or the time more likely. they are all in a box next to my bed. I'd like to read the secondary school one, they are so innocent and covered in 'cioe' ritagli...ahh youth....

PippiCalzelunghe · 10/12/2008 22:19

at 6 (or 8 or 1o who knows, will have to check)I was madly in love with the boy from 'the little lord fountleroy'. must have watched that movie a million times I even remember his name maybe ...

francagoestohollywood · 10/12/2008 22:19

lol! I have kept my smemorandas from the last 3 yrs of liceo. Lots of Springsteen lyrics. Lots of "che noia" or "bastardo". Lots of falce e martello and the peace sign...But the most interesting thing was a classification - made by me and my compagna di banco (still a very good friend now) of the different kinds of doppie punte you could get

Off to bed now, notte my dear!

OP posts:
PippiCalzelunghe · 10/12/2008 22:20

RICK SHROEDER or smthng.

francagoestohollywood · 10/12/2008 22:21

Oh yes Pippi, I fancied him as well.
My cotte at 8-10 were: John Travolta, Terence from Candy Candy, followed by il conte di Fersen and later Tommy Bradford from the famiglia bradford. Then I developed a crash for a real boy who played volleyball but who went out with a blonde who actually had boobs...

OP posts:
Brangelina · 10/12/2008 22:22

Who were Candy Candy?

francagoestohollywood · 10/12/2008 22:22

Candy Candy was a Japanese manga cartone animato

OP posts:
francagoestohollywood · 10/12/2008 22:23

Huge crash on billy idol when I was 13-14.

OP posts:
Brangelina · 10/12/2008 22:26

Ah I see. I'm afraid I was more of a goth in my mid teens. Interspersed with periods of outright tartiness. I think I must have fancied Adam Ant at some point. I really can't remember who else I was into, except for goth type groups.

Brangelina · 10/12/2008 22:27

Oh yes, Billy Idol. I had erotic dreams about him singing Rebel Yell. It's all coming back.

PippiCalzelunghe · 10/12/2008 22:27

just read this [Politically, Schroder is a Republican who supported George W. Bush in 2000 and 2004. He spoke at the 2000 Republican National Convention in Philadelphia. He is also a convert to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. [4]] ... this is worse that the boy who was bold at 24 methinks!!!

I had a crish on anthony from candy candy (see how square I was?) nick kamen [vomit] and later matt dillon and rob lowe. all the real boys I liked in RL where a britta copia di questi and they always went out with girls that were girls rather than tomboys who climbed 'greppi' and played cowboys !

PippiCalzelunghe · 10/12/2008 22:30

maybe I should throw away those diaries after all

must go now dd1 is not well and reqires me in bed with her for a cuddle.

notte, nice chat

Brangelina · 10/12/2008 22:31

One of my exes from uni looked just like Rob Lowe. Unfortunately he also had a drink problem so it didn't last.

Brangelina · 10/12/2008 22:31

Notte!

francagoestohollywood · 10/12/2008 22:31

. It must be the destiny of children heartthrobs, to become right wingers. The actor playing tommy bradford is some sort of reborn christian, I believe

But the top of my teenage crushes was reached when I fell in love with River Phoenix. I'm still very sad that he died.

have to seriously go to bed now, even if I'd love to go on with this...

Never fancied matt dillon or rob lowe. Weird.
