"I NOT A GIRL MUMMY!"

Was in the park today with ds who's 2 and a bit.
He got bumped by another boy, who's mum said "oh, is SHE alright? Say sorry to the little girl"
Well ds was wearing boyish clothes, but has blonde curls and huge blue eyes.
Anyway bless him, he turned round to me and said in a loud voice "I not a girl mummy, like x [his sister], I a BOY"

Everyone always says he's pretty but doesn't usually get mistaken for a girl.

The original title for this thread was "should I get ds to the hairdressers?"
But I knew what the answer would be
He's not a Shirley Temple, just has a lot of curls.

Oh bless!
The same thing has happened to both my ds's!
Ds2 was even called Princess once!!!
It was when we were in Florida & because it was so hot he had blue short dungarees on without a t-shirt underneath.
My DH was NOT impressed!!!!
