could i make you into a lovely happy person or a b*h

or both?

i am interested cos of the editing of programmes like i'm a celeb

for me i spent most of last 24 hours alone but when dh and ds were home it was quite a happy house so probably during last 24 hours you prob won't be able to find me being horrible to anyone

how could i edit your last 24 hours?

what kind of person could you be portrayed as?

could i join bits together to make you be the opposite of what the day was really like?

.

lazy selfish b**ch probly

schneebly · 18/11/2008 12:17

yes I could appear very different depending on editing I suppose. I am upbeat and lovely most of the time but at times quite lazy and a bit of a misery guts.

DH and I tend to have a bit of good natured 'banter' which could be mis-interpreted also.

Lizzylou · 18/11/2008 12:21

Gosh, could be nice and kind, a bit forceful and bossy or uninterested and aloof in the last 24hrs.

Strangely for me, didn't have any reason to shout in the last 24hrs, because normally it would be angry and shouty!

Poledra · 18/11/2008 12:26

Lazy fishwife, I'm guessing - yesterday was a challenging day. You would have been hard-pressed to make me look lovely and happy, but the best you could have done would be to show a dog-tired mother doing her best to care for a careless 4-yo (left the lid off her waterbottle so that it leaked all over her schoolbag), a 2-yo who has started wetting her pants again and a grumpy 17-week-old baby who did not want to be put down AT ALL. So, if you had only included the bits where I got cross at DD1 for the waterbottle, the bit where I shrieked at DD2 for wetting her pants when I had told her 3 times to go to the potty (was changing a dirty nappy at the time) then the 30 minutes in the evening when I was on the computer, you'd have a lazy harridan.

A workaholic.

Maybe that's because I am a workaholic

artichokes · 18/11/2008 12:29

I have done very little other than lie on the sofa watching TV and lie in bed reading/sleeping.

It is my first two days of maternity leave and I am a bit ill so in that context I would come across fine. However if the TV company failed to mention the context I would look like a very lazy slattern who expected her DH to do every single little thing for her and her DD.

WobblyPig · 18/11/2008 12:30

Inpatient and cross but not as abad as Kilroy-Silk.

phdlife · 18/11/2008 12:32

I think if you had 24hrs' of film to get down to 15mins you could portray any damn thing you liked.

you may not think you were horrible to anyone but edit the right words/facial expressions close enough together...

cornsilk · 18/11/2008 12:34

haggard and cross, but not orange

mou · 18/11/2008 12:46

Busy, full of laughter, positive , with a keen sense of humour, fairly laid back and easygoing whilst being slightly hyperactive.

Which is pretty well me unless you scratch the surface very deeply or film me at the weekend, when I would be like that but under pressure.

TheCrackFox · 18/11/2008 12:53

Laughably addicted to MN.

misselizabethbennet · 18/11/2008 12:55

I'm sure I'd be shown as giving frowny looks to people all the time (even though I'm not) and therefore bitchy and judgemental (which I am just a little bit).

DumbledoresGirl · 18/11/2008 12:57

You could get 15 minutes of solid ranting, shouting and swearing out of my last 24 hours. In fact, you wouldn't need to edit at all: just set the button to record the 15 minutes prior to my children leaving for school in the morning.

I feel sorry for those whose lives are actually being recorded and edited in a negative way.

RTKangaMummy · 18/11/2008 20:40

So it just shows how editing can show us with one character trait or another depending on my agenda and how I want to show you to the world

So watch I'm a celeb with that thought in mind

Think all the time what do the producers want this person to be

They show LESS than 15 mins of each camp in each programme

Imagine what I could show with my film of you and some clever editing

depends which day. i'm a gemini!

but really, you would probably find someone quite friendly and smiley but all in all boring

anyfucker · 18/11/2008 20:47

a bad-tempered, ranty, hormonal cow

mrsmaidamess · 18/11/2008 20:48

either the funniest person you'd met all day, or the bitchiest, OR the one who picks her nose the most.

luckylady74 · 18/11/2008 20:55

You could have shown me - dancing with the kids/ laughing with dh/ going for a run
or
shouting 'FGS' very loudly at bath time/ slagging off someone to dh/ sat on arse
